The other part of the Five Star equation is perhaps even more important, and that is the experience, professionalism, and dedication of our staff. Larry Kelley, PGA is one of the owners of Five Star Golf Cars and as such has been a large part of making it the successful, customer-driven business it is today.

Larry has been in the golf business since 1992, when he began working at Crown Point Country Club, in Springfield, VT and teaching for Jim Remy, PGA at his golf school in Killington, Vermont. Larry spent the winter months manning the golf shop at the Hobe Sound Golf Club in Florida, along with his wife Sandi, until taking the position of Head Professional at St. Johnsbury Country Club in Vermont in 1996. This was especially significant as it made Larry the youngest PGA Head Professional in Vermont, at that time.

After serving as Head Professional at Belmont Country Club in Massachusetts for several years, Larry was offered a position with Cleveland Golf that would allow him and his family the opportunity to move back to Vermont. It would also allow him to stay involved in the sport he loves while maintaining his PGA membership, so he jumped on the offer.

Larry has used his passion for golf and incredible amount of personal and professional experience with every aspect of the sport to make Five Star Golf Cars a success.
